Race Rules

As decided at meeting December 15, 2007. Those present: Shane, Deric, Kirby, Roy, Beef, Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Peterson


RULES:

Safety Equipment:
DOT approved helment
Operational Tether

STOCK CLASS:

Service station gas only (regular unleaded, super unleaded, non-oxy or E85 allowable) NO RACE FUEL!
Steering Wheel
Must have working clutch
NO protruding exhaust system
Remove deck mounting brackets that hang below the frame
No modification to mower frame
Frond end can not be wider than the rear end
Tiller tires approved for front end
Lawnmower tires only on rear end
Welded rear ends are OK
Boxed in wheelie bars

MOD CLASS:
Lawnmower tires
Open Fuel


POINTS:
Points will be acquired for running in heats and feature. The dash for cash will not have any points accumulated. Mower that qualifies must race.
First = 5 pts; Second = 4 pts; Third = 3 pts; Make Feature = 2 pts; Race that Day = 1 pt

ENTRY FEE:
$5 entry fee which will go towards race winnings and year-end championships. From the total entry money for the day's dash for cash $5 will go towards year end. In events where there is no dash for cash, the feature will get the dash for cash payout.
